Come for both a Naked Run on the Charles and a Naked Cabaret at Boston Public Library, back-to-back and right at the Boston Marathon finish line.
Naked Run Around Back Bay
Starting time: 12 noon
Meeting spot: Boston Public Library, on the sunny Dartmouth Street side of the library.
Join Christopher McDougall, Scott Jurek, Lee Saxby, and the New England Barefoot Runners for a jaunt around the Charles River and Back Bay. Come barefoot, nearly barefoot, or laced and cushioned to your heart’s content. Don’t worry about pace or distance — you can go as far and as comfortably as you please.

Lee Saxby: The magician who has mastered the art of teaching barefoot running.
Dr. Irene Davis: one the foremost experts on the biomechanics of running and head of the Spaulding National Running Center. A barefoot runner herself, Dr. Davis teaches at Harvard Medical School and is on the cutting edge of the movement to re-train injured athletes as “natural runners.”
Marshall Lewy: The screenwriter working with actor and debut director Peter Sarsgaard to adapt Born to Run for the screen.
